Together with the museum team and the NGO Ukraine Incognita, we carried out a deep clean and helped get the space ready for its official opening.

For us, this is exactly the kind of work where volunteering becomes part of preserving cultural heritage. It isn't always about large-scale restoration — sometimes a meaningful contribution starts with simple but very necessary tasks.

The space officially opened on 18 May. Kyiv residents and visitors can now see for themselves the site where the remains of the monastery's Gate Church have survived.
An exhibition of archaeological finds will follow. For now, the space is already open to visitors — come along, learn more about ancient Kyiv, and take part in keeping its memory alive.
